Retro Rush is the kind of game you can play right out of the box. There's no long introduction, no significant storyline. The character just runs, and you dodge obstacles.
The screen design is old-fashioned, simple, and the colors aren't overly vibrant. It seems easy at first, but after playing for a while, you realize it's not as simple as it looks.
That's it, no other buttons.
The first few seconds are quite easy and comfortable. But then the speed increases, and the distance between obstacles becomes more frustrating. Sometimes, a slight deviation can lead to a collision.
Some sections look wide but are easy to miss because you have to change direction constantly. There are also narrow sections, but if you maintain your pace, you can easily pass them.
This game isn't about grinding; it's mainly about replaying multiple times to get used to it.
Retro Rush isn't overly complicated, but it easily makes players want to replay repeatedly. This is mainly due to the feeling of "just a little bit more, and you'll pass."
