Fish Quest is a lighthearted game, not overly complicated. Upon starting, you're underwater, surrounded by fish, rocks, and some rather unusual areas.
The game atmosphere isn't tense. There's no constant chasing or noisy gunfights. It's mainly about exploration, completing quests, sometimes collecting items, or unlocking new areas.
It's actually quite simple: you control your character to swim around, travel to different areas, and complete the quests the game gives you.
Some quests involve finding items, others involve exploring new areas, and sometimes you have to avoid sea creatures.
The deeper you go underwater, the more unusual things become, but it's not overly difficult or stressful.
Playing underwater gives a slightly "sliding" feeling, not as fast and smooth as land-based games. It's a bit hard to get used to at first, but it's fine after a while.
It's not the kind of game that makes you "wow" right away, but the kind that becomes enjoyable after playing for a while.
Some points are easy to notice:
Sometimes you only intend to play for a few minutes, but you end up wandering around for quite a while because you're curious about what's ahead.
Don't rush into unfamiliar areas too quickly at the beginning. Take your time and familiarize yourself with the controls first.
When you see a mission, do it slowly, no need to rush. This isn't a time-race game.
Fish Quest isn't a game with overly intense action, but it's perfect for relaxing play. You could open the hatch, go underwater for a while, complete a few tasks, and then exit.
