Some games look ordinary but are incredibly addictive once you start playing. School Fury is one such game. It doesn't need a long storyline or a complex upgrade system; it focuses on one thing: destroying things in school.
Players take on the role of a rebellious student, wielding weapons and running around the classrooms, smashing everything in sight. It sounds simple, but that very simplicity makes it much easier to play than many others.
What I like about School Fury is that you don't need to get used to it. Right from the start, you can run around the classroom smashing desks, chairs, windows, and lockers. No need to read lengthy instructions.
The controls are quite basic:
Anyone who has played action games on a computer will almost certainly get used to it.
Although the graphics aren't overly detailed, the game's effects are quite good. When objects are hit, they scatter everywhere, creating a chaotic feeling.
There were times I just wanted to finish the mission quickly and quit, but I ended up smashing the whole room just because the sight of the objects breaking was quite fun.
The sound effects of the collisions also contribute to making everything more lively. The sound of breaking glass or smashing furniture is quite satisfying.
Many games nowadays require grinding levels or unlocking too many things. School Fury is different. This is the kind of game you can play for a few minutes in your free time and still find it fun.
The levels are fast-paced and don't feel heavy. Players just need to run around the map and destroy as many things as possible.
What many people enjoy about destruction games is the relaxed feeling they get while playing. School Fury takes advantage of that quite well. No pressure to score points, no intense competition, the game is primarily for entertainment.
After a few levels, the entire school is practically a chaotic mess with all sorts of debris scattered everywhere. This is precisely what gives the game its unique appeal.
School Fury isn't a huge game, but it's still entertaining enough for a short period. The gameplay is easy to understand, the pace is fast, and the visually satisfying destruction makes it suitable for a wide range of players. If you enjoy simple action games focused on destroying objects, this is a pretty good choice.
