Stickman War
In Blobade, you start as a tiny character with virtually nothing. You are surrounded by scattered items and a multitude of other players. To survive for the long haul, your priority is to make your character grow.
There is no need to seek out opponents right away. It is safer to roam quieter areas, gather items, and observe the situation.
Once you have gained an advantage, you can start keeping an eye on other players. However, don't rush into every encounter; a bad skirmish could cost you all the progress you've made since the start of the match.
The map is quite spacious early on, giving everyone plenty of room to move. As the game progresses, the play area gradually shrinks, forcing the remaining survivors closer together.
This is when Blobade gets intense. Moving in the wrong direction could get you cornered, while standing still makes you an easy target. Observing the movement patterns of those around you will help you avoid many sticky situations.
Blobade features the familiar control scheme of the .io genre:
Despite using only a few keys, movement significantly impacts the outcome of a match. Sometimes, circling to dodge an opponent is more beneficial than attempting a confrontation.
A simple tip is to check the map before deciding to change direction. If there are many players ahead, taking a slight detour is often a safer bet.
Also, avoid being too greedy for items located right next to an opponent. A minor item isn't worth risking the entire match.
Move more cautiously as the game nears its end. With limited space, a single misstep becomes very difficult to rectify.
Blobade embodies the true spirit of .io games: quick to jump into, simple rules, and a unique flow to every match. In some rounds, you might grow smoothly, while in others, just as you secure a good spot, you are forced to move again as the safe zone shrinks.
If you enjoyed survival games like YoHoHo.io, you will likely get the hang of Blobade quite quickly. However, rather than focusing solely on attacking, positioning yourself wisely and knowing when to avoid conflict are just as important.
